Corporate Social Responsibility at Recipharm
At Recipharm, acting with respect and integrity is an integral part of our decision making processes. Working in a sustainable way makes good business sense and allows us to improve our relationship with all our stakeholders.
We take our responsibilities seriously and actively work with corporate social responsibility and legal compliance in the areas of environment, health & safety, business ethics and employment.
Recipharm was one of the first pharmaceutical companies to achieve ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 certification. It is a requirement that all operating companies maintain their ISO accreditation.
Our Code of Conduct defines the business ethics which we demand and is based on our core values. It is underpinned and complies with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact. All employees are required to be trained in the Code and no one is authorised to deviate from this. Key employees are required to sign each year that they have complied with the Code.
It is Recipharm’s decision to work only with suppliers who act in a responsible and sustainable manner. Whilst we do not routinely go back further than one step in our supply chain, we do take steps to establish what our suppliers approach to responsibility is. It is our desire that they should work towards ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 accreditation and wherever possible we encourage this.
