Application of triple quadrupole MS for drug-to-antibody ratio and molecular weight determination of antibody-drug conjugates
The trend in biopharma has been shifting towards more expensive HRMS machines, e.g. Orbitrap analysers, for antibody-drug conjugate analysis [1-4]. However, not all laboratories interested in developing new ADCs have a budget that allows them to acquire such mass spectrometers.
To gain more contributors to this rapidly developing field we have thus tested the suitability of the comparatively inexpensive triple quadrupole mass spectrometer for the determination of the all-so-crucial drug-toantibody (DAR) ratio.
