The Wasserburg facility is a center of excellence for the lyophilisation and sterile liquid filling of biologic and pharmaceutical products, equipped with highly automated, state-of-the-art equipment. The site offers sterile fill and finish services for vials, pre-filled syringes (PFS) and pre-filled cartridges (PFC), with dedicated advanced equipment for small-scale batches and large-scale commercial production. A wide range of vial and PFS/PFC formats are available.

Recipharm in Wasserburg has been approved by the local German Government (EU-GMP), Russia, US FDA, KFDA, TGA, GCC-DR, HPB Health Canada, Japan, ANVISA and the drug and medical device institute of Turkey. The site is accredited according to the environmental management system ISO 14001 and the occupational health and safety management system IS0 45001 and ISO 50001 (energy).
