A responsible approach

At Recipharm, sustainability has long been at the heart of our business strategy and even more now that we have formally committed to the Science Based Targets initiative and submitted our target. This means that we will be taking the necessary steps to reduce our carbon footprint and play our part in what is needed to meet the Paris Agreement by 2030, which is to limit global warming to 1.5˚C.

Our position on ethical standards, accountability and good stakeholder relations has been guided by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), of which we have been a signatory since 2016. This means that we are committed to abiding by the UNGC’s Ten Principles on Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption. This framework, together with the CDP report for Climate and Water, and the structure from Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for our Sustainability report, are our guiding principles to ensure responsible and ethical behaviour throughout the supplychain. As a baseline we have our ISO third party certified management systems making sure we always comply with local laws, permits and regulations.
