Focus area: Increase resource efficiency

We have identified waste and water as key resources that we need to protect in our operations. We work with responsible resource management in a structured manner at all our sites around the world. 

Recipharm implements EHS management systems throughout its business, such as the ISO 14001 environmental management standard to ensure waste and water issues are managed in an efficient and proper manner. We compile waste and water data for all our manufacturing and development sites.

We have updated our global Environmental and Climate Policy in 2023, so that we all work towards a common set of management policies throughout the Group. The policy raises the bar on all environmental sustainability topics.

We also launched visual displays to encourage more environmentally responsible behaviour – such as by using less energy and water or producing less waste. The displays feature eye catching icons and are translated into local languages.
