Recipharm is hiring an Group Accountant and Intercompany Lead!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Group Head of Consolidation (with an indirect line to the Head of Financial Shared Services), this role will focus on Accounting and Consolidation for the Group, with special emphasis on Intercompany transactions.

 

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and standardize financial accounting and reporting at Group and entity level, in line with local GAAP and IFRS requirements.
  • Develop and ensure accurate and efficient processes for Group reporting, utilizing the Group reporting software.
  • Take ownership of the Group Intercompany Process, ensuring it is subject to regular reviews and updates where appropriate. Where changes are made, ensuring these are appropriately communicated to the business.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Group Intercompany Process including regular review with business owners to ensure compliance.
  • Suggest/implement recommendations to ensure intercompany transactions across the Group are consistently management and reported.
  • Assist the Head of Financial Shared Service to ensure that month end Group Reporting deadlines are adhered to. Resolving any issues with sites in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the Group Head of Consolidation with the administration and management of the Group Insurance Policies (including renewals).
  • Supporting the Group Head of Consolidation in respect of interactions and provision of information/reviews for all key stakeholders, including but not limited to Group Finance Functions.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in Finance or recognised accountancy qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Group Accounting or Group Finance.
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting and consolidation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP/SOX
  • Fluent English and Portuguese
  • Preferred German and Swedish
