About the Role
Recipharm is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing and Communications to define and execute our marketing strategy to drive our growth within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
This is a pivotal leadership role that demands both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You'll be instrumental in shaping our brand presence, designing and leading demand generation campaigns, and driving customer engagement.
While direct CDMO experience isn't required, your proven ability to quickly grasp and effectively communicate intricate, technical services is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Define brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition tailored to B2B clients.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (digital, events, content, webinars, conferences) targeting pharma and biotech decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Sales/BD teams to generate leads and accelerate pipeline development.
- Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, ROI, and market impact.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to inform strategy.
- Translate insights into actionable marketing initiatives.
- Oversee corporate communications, PR, and digital presence (website, social media, newsletters).
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop case studies, white papers, brochures, and technical collateral.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align marketing with sales, business development, and operations.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience (10+ years) in B2B marketing, ideally in technical, scientific, or regulated industries.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate complex offerings into clear client value propositions.
- Demonstrated success in demand generation, lead nurturing, and pipeline support.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in measuring and reporting marketing KPIs and ROI.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM systems, and marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
- Experience in global marketing campaigns, trade shows, and scientific conferences Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills and resilience.
- Fully fluent in English (written and spoken), additional languages (esp. German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese) would be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel.
