We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering & Maintenance Department.

Role Mission
To ensure the technical and operational leadership of the Maintenance area, guaranteeing the reliability, availability and performance of industrial equipment and facilities, in compliance with GMP, EHS and all applicable regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
Technical and Operational Leadership
• Lead the Equipment Maintenance team, ensuring the execution of preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities on pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging equipment, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);
• Ensure high levels of reliability, availability and performance of production assets, promoting a structured asset management approach;
• Support Production and Quality Control departments, minimising unplanned downtime and ensuring operational continuity;
• Coordinate the analysis and resolution of critical breakdowns, promoting the implementation of sustainable corrective and preventive actions (RCA – Root Cause Analysis);
• Ensure proper recording, processing and analysis of maintenance data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), promoting KPI-driven decision-making (such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE and maintenance plan compliance);
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean methodologies, TPM and reliability engineering best practices;
• Ensure facilities and equipment comply with legal, regulatory and internal audit requirements;
• Ensure compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) standards, promoting a strong safety culture within the team;
People Management
• Coordinate, develop and motivate the team under your responsibility, ensuring effective resource and competency management;
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and technical training processes;
• Define annual objectives, monitor individual performance and promote continuous feedback;
• Identify training needs and develop technical capability plans aligned with operational requirements;
• Promote talent development and internal succession in close collaboration with the Human Resources department;
• Foster a culture of accountability.
