Drive Strategic Procurement Excellence at Site Level

We are looking for a Procurement Site Liaison Manager in Leganés (Spain) to act as the key link between our site operations and the global Procurement organization, ensuring the effective implementation of procurement strategies while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
What will you do:
In this role, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end purchasing process, from identifying needs to signing agreements and following up on supplier performance. You will work closely with production, quality, logistics and finance teams to make sure purchasing decisions support our operational and regulatory requirements. Your daily work will mix strategic tasks with hands‑on actions, so you won’t be bored.
- Support the implementation of global category strategies and provide local market insights.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure alignment with site Supply Chain teams.
- Monitor market trends, supplier landscapes, and relevant regulations.
- Manage local and transactional suppliers, including contract renewals, supplier performance, and commercial negotiations.
- Lead sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFPs, and supplier selection processes.
- Analyze spend data, identify savings opportunities, and track procurement KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance standards.
What you bring
- Work experience at least 5 years in Procurement and/ or SCM
- Experience in leading teams.
- Knowledge of Procurement processes, esp. Purchase-to-Pay, preferably in a regulated industry such as pharma, biotech or similar.
- Experience in Supplier Account/ Relationship Management
- Good analytical skills, structured and methodical approach
- Collaborative and constructive communication;
- Deliver on promise with a can-do attitude;
- Self-starter
- University degree
- Good understanding of supplier management and strong negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working in English in an international environment.
- A collaborative mindset, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
