About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) function. This is a pivotal role that combines hands-on delivery of complex, multi-site technical projects with responsibility for shaping how project management is practiced across the wider business.
You will manage a portfolio of projects spanning technology transfer, new product introduction (NPI) and engineering, while also owning the systems, tools, standards and governance that underpin project management across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define, implement and maintain the project management systems, tools and reporting frameworks used across the business
- Manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects across multiple categories, including Technology Transfer/NPI and Engineering
- Lead the alignment of project management practice across the organization, including training, governance, standards and templates
- Lead and execute complex, multi-site projects from initiation through to completion
- Act as the primary interface between all contributing disciplines involved in project delivery, ensuring clear communication and coordinated execution
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and resourcing conflicts across the portfolio
- Provide regular, structured reporting on project and portfolio status to senior stakeholders
About you
- Significant experience in project management within a CDMO, pharmaceutical, or biotech manufacturing environment
- Direct experience with technology transfer and/or NPI projects; engineering project experience is an advantage
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Proven track record managing a portfolio of concurrent projects, not just single-project delivery
- Experience designing or improving project management tools, templates, standards or governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-site or cross-country projects and align stakeholders without direct line authority
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work confidently across Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

This is a global remote based role and open for applicants with EU/UK citizenship, or with a valid work/residence permit and permanent residence in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, or Portugal where Recipharm has presence.
